Subject: Corn after corn Question

SE Michigan
Usually do a corn to soy rotation here, unless weather issues forces me to plant soy on a few acres that had soy the previous year. Never "had" to plant corn after corn. I read some posts where it's done but seems like most do a full tillage program.
in the fall. Here I usually do as much tillage to the soy ground in the fall, or spring depending on weather conditions (usually too wet in the fall) and plant corn after. This year I may need to plant corn after 2020's corn on ground that was not tilled in the fall (I no-till all beans). Should I have any concerns about a major reduction in yield? Any other concerns or pre-cautions I need to take? Plan is to use a heavy disc, followed by a finisher in the spring. (only tools I have that can go through the residue)
