Subject: Corn in furrow rootworm control

Central Nebraska
We haven't been planting any rw corn the last few years because haven't been seeing many beetles. Now beetles are showing up so we need to either plant rw corn or go in furrow with something. Not too thrilled on rw corn as it is $40-65 per bag higher than a vt2 hybrid. this would be on 2nd/3rd year corn only.
What is everyone using in furrow that works for the long haul? I do have an old regent system that wouldn't take much (I think) to get it setup.

Thanks
