Subject: Soybean FM question, need math help

Fremont, NE
Took a load to local ADM and soybeans had 8.5% FM from standing cover crop rye that obviously was sprayed a few days late. Yes the dock is high but I’m still actually selling them the rye seed at contract soybean price. Let’s say the contract price was $9.55. How do I figure the actual dockage? Load was 60,000lbs total net weight. 12.3% moisture.

Kind of like selling 14% moisture beans vs 9% moisture beans. Yes there is a dock for high moisture but the added weight makes up the difference somewhat.

Am I explaining this enough to make sense of what I’m trying to figure out? Thx
