Subject: 69 and 54 bu beans in Central Indiana

20 Miles West of Indianapolis Indiana
April 21 planted. 2.8 maturity.

These are not prize farms. One is definitely better then the other and it shows. But these are small 13ish acre farms with trees on the outsides and the middle of one. Both have a fair amount of tile in em.

Better farm made 69 (scale ticket) at 10.5% and 57.5# TW

Other farm made 54ish. Don’t have that ticket back but going off adjusted yield monitor.

Hearing reports of 53-76 bushel beans from Neighbors, friends and seed customers Of mine Here. Some are going hard and some haven’t started yet. Today was our first day so far.

Hoping to get onto a larger and better farm tomorrow that has a lot of black ground and is pattern tiled with good soil test levels

This is just west of Indianapolis in Hendricks County. South of 74 and north of 70. Creeks are dry here. From the middle of August on we have maybe gotten 2 different 2 tenth rains. But until the week before last, we’d been consistently mowing grass...

Pics are just to show that these are not square 80’s or anything of the such
