Central Ohio | Hey guys, new to the forum with a question about field tile. I need to reroute an old 4” clay field tile due to digging out a pond (don’t want to dump current line into pond since it will also be used for swimming). As is I have to trench about 150’ at which there is another clay tile. Can I join these together without major issues? They would continue for about 200’ before dumping into the creek. I was thinking the only issue would be in times of very wet conditions the field would just take a bit longer to drain? Or are there other considerations? For what it’s worth about 1/3 of the drained land is no longer farmed and just pasture. | |
