Subject: Bourgault 6000 leading cart

NW Saskatchewan
Anyone else especially this spring with all the moisture and humidity having calibrated numerous times to be cautious end up with caking at the meter augers resulting in not nearly rates being achieved? (Fertilizer that is)Delivering lots of air to fertilizer runs, seeding canola with center tank using the double flight auger and single augers for fertilizer tanks. Indicates rates are bang on then u realize " this tank seems to be going a long way", climb cart and sure enough there is a lot more in there than should be. Drive to fert. Truck, reverse procedure to unload fertilizer sure enough meter is caked up just enough to fool you when you check runs.needless to say much of our canola was seeded with too little fertilizer. Anyone else? Just my ****ty luck or what am I doing wrong? Machine is leading Series 6350 on 40' 3710 ICD needless to say we have some crappy looking canola crops due to absence of fertilizer this spring.
