East central Iowa

I was watching a video of Matt Carriker in Texas and he had concrete poured from a truck that wasn't like the ones in our area.  In our area the plant mixes the cement, it goes into a truck that keeps it in suspension until it gets to the site.  The trucks have a cylinder that rotates and keeps mixing.
cement-truck-sketch />The trucks that brought his concrete brought it dry as components.  Those trucks were rectangles with a water tank on the front of the box and it appeared as though they mixed the water, sand, gravel and cement and then poured on site.
