Morgan Co. Illinois | Youngest daughter and son in law are about done building a new house. Need a few bales of straw to help establish grass. Good friend and neighbor Number 1 has some wheat this year. Good friend and neighbor Number 2 wants some straw also and has the baler. A couple days ago wheat gets cut, I help load a couple wagons, load my 30 some bales on my trailer. Ask Neighbor 1 "How much do I owe you?" He answers I don't have a dime in it Neighbor 2 baled it, pay him. Ask Neighbor 2 same question, "Don't pay me pay Neighbor 1 it's his straw". So how do you compensate friends and neighbors you owe? Hand them cash,? gift cards? Busch Light? or some better idea. Thanks! | |
