mn | Finally got around to tearing down the old house. I had intentions of pulling out the kitchen cabinets to put in the new garage since they had been refaced in the early 2000s. When they refaced them the covered up all the fasteners so I couldn't get them out. Decided to leave them.
To my surprise, when the second floor came down it sheared the upper cabinets right off the wall and landed them on the countertop. They have zero damage other than 1 bent hinge. Lower cabinets in perfect condition also. Hard to believe they survived with no damage. Only one that didn't make it is the small one above the sink.
