Subject: Kind of Keto Diet Results


Lancaster, OH
The end of December, I made a hard choice to change my diet.

Example: Breakfast--2 eggs, cantaloupe, some kind of meat
Lunch--Drive thru burger/fries
Supper--Applebees, Roadhouse, etc. with a few beers

New diet: Breakfast--2-3 eggs maybe with cheese or a couple of chaffles w/butter and very light maple syrup
Lunch--GNC 25 Protein shake
Dinner--Chicken wings & salad (no croutons) with a few beers

When home, Lunch can be some veggies and dinner is just smaller portion w/no or low carb veggies. Will have small Blizzard at night when home, no beer.

Being home for the last 2 months have made it easier.

I've lost 40#. I had a blood test the end of December and one last week. My total Cholesterol has gone from 171 to 156. HDL is up and LDL is down although HDL could come up more.

What I really like is my HA1C has gone from 6.4 to 5.3 although my glucose level is still 108 that is down from 142 previously.

I feel like I am on a much better path and would like to talk with a nutritionist about a diet to sustain.
