Rock station is playing a new song, I called today because I couldn't understand the dj when he gave the title....couldn't understand him on the cell phone, either.  Probably the big V8 I was sitting behind at the time.

Lyrics make reference to waylon, willie, plant, page, slash, kid rock....contain the phrase (or something close) 'livin' like a rock star, livin life really large'....something about 'before all the music was gay' i may add more as it comes to me 

I thought he said the title was "Take me back," Take you back,"  "Take us back" or something close to that. 

I'm guessing it is a new artist but I'm not sure.  It's something Kid Rock could do, but it's not him.
