AB. | Off to tag a calf. Sure has gotten more complex over the years.
ID tag, RFID tag, elastorator, toltrazuril pill ( coccidiosis prevention), Two nasal vaccines, possibly horns and a shot of oxy LA to ward off naval infection( only given to calves that are born in the barn)
The minimum a calf gets is 5 things that is a heifer calf with no horns born outside the most is 8 being a a bull calf with horns that spends any amount of time in the barn.
The good thing is at the pasture turnout they will get 2 needles an 8 way and bovishield gold one shot which will booster the nasal vaccines and they will be on their way and don't need anything for a year( if I retain heifers)
