Nebraska | Well i guess do too but if we keep them from drinking out of standing water and keep the calves out of the slop as much as possible we dont have problems KNOCK ON WOOD. We also feed more grass hay during calving and slow the cows down a little from full silage and alfalfa, otherwise they seem to milk too good and that can cause just as many issues. The weather plays more of role than most things of course. Glad it hear its working for you, but if its repeating year after year i would look for different ways of combating it. No offense. | |
