Central Indiana | I need help with this farm soil sample. It struggles, especially in beans, to yield well. I realize the P and K are terrible, so I have been broadcasting high rates 500-600 lbs every year. My question is do you think that the PH is the limiting factor, and /or is there anything I can put on thru the planter (liquid) to help spoon feed the beans? It seems to do better in corn, and I feel like partially it is because I can put on high rates of phosphate and nitrogen next to the row.
Would I be better going corn on corn until I get the fertility built up? I thought that might make it worse. Looking for suggestions.
I should add, that this is a couple year old soil sample, and the latest one is a little better, but I couldn't find it right now, to post it.
