Central, IL | Post from below about cell towers got me thinking about our situation.
We have an old tower (microwave boosting station) is on our property. We recieve no rental for this nor did the previous owners. This farm has changed hands a few times. The story goes when they put it up the old lady that owned the ground got her real estate taxes paid for one year. She might have been happy but we are not. Where would you find info on a contract that was made 25 plus years ago? Would it be in the abstracts of the property? Not looking to get rich off this but would like some compensation for farming around all those guy wires. Any ideas? | |
