Subject: Disk vs. VT tool

Central ND
Will a VT tool perform adequately vs a disk for working field edges, wet spots in fall that have grown up with weeds, etc? Don’t grow corn, but would occasionally have use for some type of VT tool for working a field here or there so i could see the benefit of owning one for that, but it would have to be able to work through tall weeds etc or that would be a deal breaker on owning a VT tool vs a disk. I realize a disk would be better, but can’t justify owning both. Anyone use their VT tool as described? If it works, what brand you using? Thanks.
