Subject: hay barn ventilation

Ridgway, IL
Good morning

I am building a 52x200 hay and commodity storage barn. It has 6' concrete walls around the perimeter and a 14' building on top. It is gable roof. It has a 26' opening for a future roll up door, as well as a walk in door on the north end. The south/east/west sides will be completely closed up.

Largely this will be for storing straw for bedding and hay, i also expect to use it for storing commodities like wdg/soyhulls/ddg etc when not occupied by straw/hay.

What steps do i need to take to make sure i have the appropriate level of ventilation in the barn? Would you worry about condensation and/or bales heating? Not planning to run power to the barn.
