I wanna put a garden hose real and plumb it into my spray pump to spray out the inside of the tank when I’m cleaning out to change chemicals. My pump has a slot to put in a fitting but water has to be pumping to get pressure. So can I put an on/off nozzle right after the 2” out spout and run the pump and have the nozzle off to run the garden hose? Or will deadheading the pump hurt it?
