SE MN | We have this older Hypro sprayer pump with a direct drive for a 540 rpm pto. We used it years ago and it’s been sitting the shed for way too long. I dug it out for a guy to use that needs a pto drive pump on a small sprayer. I ran it with water and it seems to work. My question is about the drive...what is in it...a planetary system or other gears? I am assuming that it speeds up the pump speed from the input speed, but maybe it’s direct drive and that big housing is just for bearings? Is there oil that is supposed to be in it? I can’t find any ID tag or much if anything on it. I also don’t see any plugs for oil or zerks for grease. Thanks!
