Subject: Is ASF Bullish for Corn?

SE Arkansas
There has been a lot of discussion about how ASF in China is bearish for Soybeans as China is a very large Soybean Importer. However, China's hardly imports any Corn, but will have to import large amounts of Pork, Beef, and Chicken. These incremental Imports will largely come from the United States and Brazil. The Corn Market in the United States is largely domestic in that we Export less than 15 percent of what we produce. So there should be additional demand for Corn due to incremental volumes of exports of Pork, Beef, and Chicken. This demand should help tighten the domestic Corn Market. Take a look at the charts of TSN, JBSAY, PPC, and SAFM. Business is Booming.
