Subject: Boundaries. A few Q's.

EC IL
We upgraded to Incommand 1200 and suredrives this year. They kept stressing creating boundaries.

When planting the outside row of a field they mentioned turning swath control off in case our boundaries are too close to our actual planting area so it doesn't shut a row off that you really wanted planting.

The way I see it is:
I can create super wide boundaries so this isn't an issue and still keep swath control on. On corners it won't overlap but will plant in grass on the edges if i get too close.

Or:
Keep boundaries based off old yield data exact. Turn swath control off on border pass. Manually set down accurately on corners to avoid overlap.

Am I overlooking any huge pros/cons of tight boundaries? (Coop sprays fields).

No time to trace fields with an ATV so I'm using old greenstar yield data and 20 day trial of SMS. Yield data is rough and requires smoothing a bit but as close as I can get this year.
