That's my approach also. Boundaries do have the advantage of automatically picking the correct field as you drive to the next field. They also help prevent the occasional GPS flyer that I sometimes get when I drive home to refill. Neither of these is really much of a problem for me. I'm kind of in between as some fields have boundaries and others not.
