Subject: Manure storage for solid beef manure?

Thinking of building a 40 by 50 storage , would have 3 sides poured wall with front open. Wall would be frost wall, 4 ft in ground 4ft above, the spot i would like to put it is sort of into a bank. ? is it safe to bring dirt right up to almost top of wall or should I keep it down 2 feet or so. We are in Ontario, Can. so get lots of frost. Do not want to run into a problem with frost pushing hard on wall if bring grade up to near top of wall. Do not want to pour knee braces every 10 feet or so. Would bring grade down 2 feet or so if thought would be too much pressure on wall from frost.
