Statesville, NC | What size planter vs. corn head are you running? Just curious what others are doing. I'm 6 30" for both planter and combine, about 275 acres corn and 200 acres of early beans on 30's. I have some small fields scattered over several miles. Had thought of going with an 8 row corn head, but would have to haul head to move. I think I'm better off staying with 6. Have thought of going to a 12 row planter, but when you cross that line to a folding planter, the price goes up a lot. Mostly a one man show here too. | |
