East central South Dakota | Recently bought a Db60. The previous owner had pulled a tank and the pump etc was on the tank. It currently has some sort of in furrow tube (totally tubular etc) but nothing other than that. Worked in the deal is a fertilizer tank but I am left to find a pump and lines etc.
Currently, our 1760 has a ground drive pump, 1" "main line" and a "nozzle body" orifice/strainer setup. Will I need to get a main line and the nozzle body system or can I work this with a wilger system and smaller lines going to each row unit?
Am either going to go with a hydraulic john blue pump or a 12 volt system from C&R supply. The 12 volt system runs around $2000 with motor, control and wilger system. Any recommendations? |
