Subject: New Concaves for rotor combines

These concaves from Kondex at NFMS were pretty impressive. CFC Distributor booth 3194 in the west wing building right next to Balzer grain / slurry wagons outside the area. A Buddy is going to run a set in his 9770 Deere this year looking to improve performance in high-moisture corn.

Benefits over factory:
-Less rotor loss because of better threshing in the front (max-thresh) sections.
-improved sample quality with less damage due to being able to run more clearance allowing grain-on-grain threshing
-increased capacity in bushels / hr due to running more open and being able to feed more crop through
-individual replaceable boxes that can be changed for custom configurations and should a rock or foreign material damage one they can be replaced at a cost of about $65 each instead of having to replace a $800 concave
-made in Wisconsin by Kondex
-long wear life- round bar is heat treated and max thresh have laser cladding with tungsten carbide (they said some customer harvester guys have over 4,000 separator hrs on a set and still running)

JD price is $4,400
Case IH flagship price is $3,900 or $3,600 depending on model
