Subject: Cost of Precision upgrades on Case 1250?

Boone, Iowa
I have a Case 1250 24-row. Looking into options of some upgrades. Planter is currently set up with V-sets with chain drive, Tru-Count row clutches, down bags and hydraulic drives I am going to swap to Dickey John seed sensors and install my Gen I 20/20. I wasn’t happy with the stock sensors and Pro 700 readings. I’m trying to figure out the best $ spent, when I decide to do some upgrades. I’m thinking about Row Flow, but Case hydraulic motor does not have PWM mounted to motor. I’m told this causes erratic control. I can upgrade the four hydraulic motors, but $ may be better spent towards V-drives. I could eliminate hydraulic motors, row clutches, hex shafts and chains. I need to add a hydraulic air compressor to control my down bags. I can get a used compressor for $1600, but the Air Force module, load pins and supporting wiring. I’m sure Delta Force is an option, but what does that figure out$/row?
