Subject: Will liquid K move with liquid N when applied together?

NE SD
A few years ago our starter pump on planter quit working in one field. We had strip tilled NPK the previous fall but still needed the added P and K that was supposed to go on with the starter. So we mixed the starter with 5 gal 28% and side dressed it in that field when the corn was about V3. I was not confident it would do much good as the corn was yellow and had purple leaves. However we ended up harvesting 190 bu/@ that fall in that field. Second highest yield we had aver had in that field with the first highest being in 2008.

I'd like to get more P and K on our corn in 2019 in addition to what was put on with strip tiller last fall but am limited with what i could put on the seed so was thinking of doing this to several fields. Everyone says P and K don't move much in the soil when applied. But will it move when added with liquid N? If not, what are you thoughts on why it seemed to work in the scenario above?
