Subject: outside office door lock lubricant.....

Cherokee County, Northwest Iowa
Just a simple problem-key isn't sliding into and out of an outside office door lock as easy as it used to, why not do something right for a change?, Google and see what is the preferred product to use to lubricate a simple door lock.

WD-40: Ranges from Best in Class to "For God's sake, don't use WD-40!"

Graphite: Ranges from Best product available to use to "For God's sake, don't use graphite!"

Silicone spray (which was my original idea when all this started): one guy said it is the best to use.

Talk about over-thinking something-probably one of those examples of where it really doesn't matter what you use, just use something. Go with your first thought, Bruce, silicone spray.

Feel free to add your 2 cents. Bruce.
