West Central WI | I have an 05 timpte with a steel subframe.
This fall I noticed on the bottom side of the crossmember in the back, it had a hole show up in one of them and upon closer inspection, there is a couple spots looking to be rusting through on the bottom side of the crossmember where the wheels throw stuff up at the crossmember. Structurally the trailer seems just fine as there's still plenty of metal so would I get along just fine if I had the local weld shop weld some patches/box 3 sides of the crossmember to get me by a few more years?
