| I sampled around 2,500 acres this fall in Southeast MN after SB crop on C-SB rotation and once I received the lab results I noticed how all across the board Potassium levels were low. The lab I used was Waypoint Analytical out of Atlantic, IA and the extraction method was Mehlic III. These levels didn't seem to off to me considering the yields that have been pulled in the past couple of years (C avg. 250 SB avg. 60) but once I sent the results to a COOP they said they couldn't believe how the levels could be so low due to them applying the GOLD package of fertilizer every 2 years. Wondering if anyone else has been seeing trends like this?
Avg P levels: 36ppm
Avg K levels: 102ppm
Avg pH levels: 6.5
Avg CEC levels: 25 meq/100g
