Bon Homme County, South Dakota | Had the chance at 2 different pieces of ground close to home. Landlord asked what I could pay, but was going to let someone he knew longer match my price if he wanted it. Few days later a different landlord asked the same thing, more or less. Give me your best number, but someone else gets the right to match. Found out the one a few days ago the guy took it, and found out today the other guy matched it as well. Gave them both my best number. Couldn't risk anymore than I was.
Not looking for sympathy. Just an emotional roller coaster. I'm honestly grateful I was even considered. Second just doesn't offer much consolation. |
