Red River Valley, North Dakota | When towing an enclosed trailer , the ford sways all over the road. Is there any cure other than an equalizer hitch ? I tried a set of air bags to stiffen up the rear but I don’t think it helped much.
Driving in wind is a 2 hands on the wheel job to keep it on the road. It’s almost scary to drive.
Background : current vehicle, 2018 f150. Multiple trailers. 7x16’s. Have used same trailers on gm pickups and they pull fine. It is the ford pickups that sway. Have had older f150s, 2005, 2013 , 2017 on same trailers and they swayed too.
