| Just info, not a solution, but I watched several you tube towing tests before buying a new truck. Seems the swaying suspension on the F150 seemed to be a common concern for testers over other brands of trucks. But I will agree with other posters about hitch loading. Have hauled a D17 AC with loader and fluid on my bumper hitch tilt bed equipment trailer home from my wifes farm 500 miles at 70 mph comfortably. On the other end of the spectrum, brought home a Claas 8X30 corn head 250 miles. Fit on the trailer perfectly for length, but I couldn't go over 62mph or the trailer would start wagging behind me. NOT a fun sensation! Im guessing most of the weight was on one side of the trailer. Still remember the relief when I pulled in my drive that night! | |
