| Working on a JD 7810 with IVT transmission, that the hyd oil gets hot after 2 or 3 hours of tillage work or pulling discbine thru the hay field. Problem started since the trans pump went out last year. We replaced trans pump housing, gears and all the stuff that goes with it on the front end of the transmission. Trans pump flow and pressure is good. Ivt transmission passes the test. Lube pressure seems fine. According to the oil level sight glass, the air pump, that pushes the oil out of the ivt trans section, back into the diff housing seems to work... We also changed the radiator out. Does anybody have any other ideas ? Thanks to any suggestions ! | |
