| Looking to get a new tv after christmas. Looking for input on what to get. LCD or Plasma? Is going in a room that can catch southern light. I know that 1080 is better than 720 but what does the i or the p mean after that?? Looking for something along the lines of 42 to 50 inch. Is the HD worth the extra (i have directv so i would have to upgrade, and not sure if i like two channels for every channel cluttering up guide)?. Also curious about what brands are good and which ones are bad. Looking for value but dont want junk. Any input would be appreciated.. Thanks | |
