NWKS | We put a couple farms in a irrevocable trust a couple years ago, my kid from first wife is one of the beneficiaries. We don't talk much, mother is a nut job and keeps him away the best she can and influences him based on her bias. Basically, kid doesn't like me because of this.
Anyhow, trying to sign up for FSA stuff, and as a beneficiary, he needs to sign income statements, etc. He is nearly 18 and won't. Not sure how this is gonna affect the farm at the FSA office. I assume, it will throw it out of the program, which will affect the other beneficiaries.
I am the trustee, what can I do about this to maintain program compliance? Is there a affidavit the kid can sign to refuse to be a beneficiary? Will these farms lose all program benefits if he has gone rogue and won't sign any USDA paperwork? About fed up with trying to talk some sense into the boy... | |
