Central Wi | Bought 9 Holstein steers last spring and kept them at a farm I rent. Moved then to my dad's yesterday so I could drain the water etc at that pasture. They will be at dad's with his until finished. I have to supply a fair amount of corn and it would be easiest to just put it in his bin right away. Anybody have a ballpark figure on a fair amount? They are probably 650 lbs average and will be on a stuffer till finished. Whole corn with a steak maker pellet. They haven't been implanted but that might happen after I get done with harvest. Im thinking 100 bu a steer but would like to hear from others. We don't have scales on our mill. | |
