Subject: Combine speed in high yields

South Dakota
We're having some very high yields for irrigated corn this year. We have a 2007 case IH 2577. It seems like I lose a little yield if I go past about 2.4 MPH, 2.0-2.2 seems about perfect. Usually we go about double that, but with the volume of grain moving through we're having to go really slow. Any pointers from iowa/ Illinois or experienced irrigators who have dealt with this?
