Will red clover smother and kill it self over winter if it's too big going into winter? I have a field we seeded and cut once later in the summer. With the nice fall it's grown quiet a bit, all blossomed out. Don't need the feed but don't want to choke out the stand either. Hoping it will be ok to leave. Thoughts?
