Northern Alabama | Hearing a thumping sound, and can't seem to narrow it down on the old girl. Sounds like its in the cylinder but it turns easy by hand. Took the tailing return auger chain off and eliminated that...crawled down in the straw walkers today and beater is ok. Curious about the shaft that goes across above the beater...primary countershaft?
Sound gets less frequent when I slow the cylinder down...
Sound stays the same when I open the concave...
No vibration.
