SE MN | Was out combining beans last night. Started the field at 3 o'clock and it was running around 12.5% moisture and low 60s yields. Fast forward to 9 pm. Ambient temperature was way down and dew setting in hard. Combining a directly adjacent path to where I started the day. Yield was down to mid 40's and moisture down to 10% according to the monitor (I'm questioning that moisture). I thought the monitor adjusted yield for moisture difference +/-.
When you look at diagnostics screen for moisture module, is that temperature number actually supposed to read ambient or is it something arbitrary??
In the calibration screen for moisture I believe, there is an adjustment for temperature offset. Again, should this be reading ambient? | |
