Central ND | Neighbor calls me yesterday. Seems he was messing around the yard and noticed that the normal mess of barn swallows had disappeared. Also, a walnut tree (we don't have a lot of walnut trees around here) he knows about has completely changed color. So, his request of me was to put the question out to you guys here on NAT. He reads the forum, but isn't a poster. So, anybody have any thoughts? Are disappearing barn swallows and early-changing trees an indicator of a specific weather event/pattern? | |
