Seeing some trees already turning color, which is really early here. Lots of walnuts, butternuts. The month of August has been exceptionally cool here, and the crops really need heat to mature. Corn ranges from just past blisters to black layer and beans from flowers to nice pods in the same fields.
I hope it's not a sign of a bad winter to come.....
