St.Clair Co. IL. | well I found a recipe for salsa, had it on the stove top, just starting to boil about ready to shut the heat off and
BLAME !!! the pyrex dish I was using exploded into little piece's like a chattered car window.
what a mess!! the pot I wanted to use was aluminum ( I think) and I was told not to use aluminum.
well that was my stass of tomatoes and after cleaning up that mess (about 6 pts. worth) I give up for awhile.
The next time I attempt this I will buy a cast iron pot to use, been wanting one anyway and after that mess I don't think the wife will object.
LIFE LESSON LEARNED: NEVER USE ANY TYPE GLASS DISH ON A GAS STOVE TOP.
