Consumer Reports did an article 6(?) years ago about Pyrex, claiming that when the company was taken over by World Kitchens, production was moved to Charleroi, Penna., but most importantly, they cheapened the product by removing BORON from the recipe, rendering it worthless for oven or stove-top use. sad
