Subject: Washing machine flood!

North East Wimmera district of Victoria.

G'day!

Wife has a Simpson Ezi ... 9.5kg top load washing machine.

Today as it was into rinse cycle, it did not stop filling - flooded floor!

Supply firm is 1 hr drive away. Guy said he is one serviceman short, could be a few days IF I could bring it in to them.

"Did I have a spare washing machine?" he asks  [ like most people have a couple in case one quits!!!!]

What do you guys reckon? Whip the back panels off and check solenoids on water inflow?  [Actually only the cold needs checking, as it is set on cold rinse.]

We syphoned some water out, and set it to pump/spin, but it would not go to spin cycle - just kept repeating pumping.

Any thoughts appreciated as always.
