NE Kansas | Just got a 5 month old saint bernard dog. He is a great dog but keeping pooping in the worst possible spots in the yard (mainly where the kids play and we sit. We have had him about 1 week and not sure how to get him to go in the corn field. Have walked him down multiple times but have no luck getting him to go. Just tied him up by the corn an hour ago and have been throwing his poop from the yard down there hoping he might smell it to make it his new spot. I know lots of people can train when they are indoor dogs but he is untied outdoors which makes it hard to watch him go. Any advise on how to get him to go away from the house? | |
