Subject: EZ Steer Bridge Fault Error. Bad Steering Controller.

West Tennessee
Have been running an EZ Steer with EZ Guide 500 in our 4710 sprayer for two years now. Made a few rounds yesterday and worked fine for a few rounds then started kicking out and a red "bridge fault" message came up. Says to increase or decrease steering sensitivity (can't remember which one). Seemed very odd because nothing had been changed. Would get the same error even if the steering motor wasn't on the wheel. Put another steering motor on it (extra we have) and same thing. Noticed that the steering wheel seemed harder to turn with the motor against it. Couldn't tell it just spinning the rubber wheel by hand though. Almost as if the motor had some sort of electrical resistance to it. Yesterday I swapped out the steering controller with the spare one. We seem to have a lot of "spare" stuff don't we? Went back to working just fine and worked all day. So the EZ Steer controller is probably bad? Is it worth fixing (AgExpress?) or just try to buy another used one? We bought both of these systems used and they've sure worked great for us so not upset that this one went down. Would love to upgrade the sprayer to hydraulic steering but just too much money on our old sprayer I think.
