I had the starter in and it checked out ok, I put new leads to the battery, still won't start. The starter turns enough to engage the flywheel. The tractor starts with a short pull and runs normally. Battery voltage is 12.8 sitting and 14.3 with the tractor running. The "gen" light used to glow bright with the switch on and now glows very dimly. This tractor has had a 12 volt conversion a few years ago and always started quickly with a single battery. What are the 2 round objects with wires going to them? I don't recall seeing anything like them on other starters.
